ホームページ ▶ https://www.m-kankou.jp/minamisanriku_story/shishi-odori/開催日：イベントは南三陸町観光協会で確認のことhttps://www.m-kankou.jp/minamisanriku_story/shishi-odori/電車/車：JR気仙沼線（BRT）陸前戸倉駅よりタクシーで4分（徒歩で34分）/三陸自動車道 志津川ICより14分南三陸町観光協会 0226-47-2550Date：Events should be confirmed by the Minamisanriku Tourist Associationhttps://www.m-kankou.jp/minamisanriku_story/shishi-odori/Train / Car: 4 min. by taxi (34 min. on foot) from Rikuzentogura Station on the JR Kesennuma Line (BRT) (34 min. on foot) / 14 min. from Shizugawa IC on Sanriku ExpresswayMinamisanriku Tourist Association 0226-47-2550願いと祈り、南三陸で紡がれる伝統芸能。Traditional performing arts tell an intricate story of the Minamisanriku region.神々を描いた艶やかな「流」、そして八ツ又に枝を広げた鹿の角。その姿は、まさに東北の聖獣。南三陸町戸倉地区水戸辺に伝わる行山流水戸辺鹿子躍（ぎょうざんりゅうみとべししおどり）である。戸倉水戸辺地区の「行山流水戸辺鹿子躍」は一時途絶えていたものを平成に入り復興していたが、東日本大震災の大津波で衣装や道具のすべてが流出、あきらめていた時、ガレキの中から一つ、又一つと踊れる位の道具が奇跡的に拾い集められた。こうした中で「鹿子躍を地域の復興のシンボルに」との声が上がり、平成23年5月に活動を再開した。地元南三陸町をはじめ、各地の避難所や復興イベントで公演し、地域の人々を元気づけ、絆を繫げる重要な役割を果たし、大震災からの復興をさらに推進しようと努力を続けている。An inspiring story about lifeThis dance features a 2.4-meter-long banner, faded-dye costumes with the Kuyo Crest and Wachigai Crest gifted from the Date clan, lords of the Sendai Domain, lustrous fabric decorated with deities, and branches interwoven in the horns of the “deer.” That costume is that of the sacred animal of Tohoku—the Gyozan-style Mitobe Deer Dance of Minamisanriku-cho Tokura-Mitobe District. The Gyozan-style Mitobe Shishi-Odori (Deer Dance) of the Tokura Mitobe District had disappeared at one point, but was revived during the Heisei Period. Sadly, the costumes and implements used for the dance were all washed away during the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. However, when everyone was just about to give up, some items usable for the dance were miraculously recovered from the rubble. Therefore, the deer dance became a symbol of the area’s recovery, leading to its re-launch in May 2011. The dancers make appearances at local evacuation areas and recovery fund-raising events, including the local Minamisanriku-cho. They have the important role of reinvigorating the lives of local people and bringing them together.
