Boats decorated with dragon heads and dragon tails race in the harbor! The largest Hari event in OkinawaThis is the largest of all Hari events held throughout Okinawa. The sight of 32 rowers racing, each in special boats with dragon heads on their bows, is overwhelming. On the 3rd of May are dramatic matches between junior high schools in the city, and the 4th is when spectators can take part in the general boat-boarding experience.
