Please check the latest information before planning your visit. 開催日：毎年8月のお盆過ぎ、大分市鶴崎公園グラウンドで本場鶴崎踊大会が開催される。電車：JR九州「日豊本線 鶴崎駅」／車：東九州自動車道「大分宮河内IC」鶴崎おどり保存会（大分市役所鶴崎支所内） 097-527-2111Date：The Authentic Tsurusaki Dance Contest is held at the Tsurusaki Park grounds, Oita, every August after the Obon festival.Train: JR Kyushu “Tsurusaki Station” on the Nippo Main Line / Car: Higashi-Kyushu Expressway “Oita Miyakawauchi IC”Tsurusaki Dance Preservation Society (at the Tsurusaki Branch Office, Oita City Hall) 097-527-2111ホームページ ▶ https://turusakihozonkai.com本場鶴崎踊大会は、各団体が手作りした豪華絢爛で個性あふれる衣装が見もの。T h e l u x u r i o u s , g o r g e o u s a n d u n i q u e costumes hand-crafted by each group are the highlight of the Authentic Tsurusaki Dance Content. 大友宗麟のため、京都から踊り子を招き、「三つ拍子」という踊りを踊らせたのが始まりといわれている。「三つ拍子」はその後「左衛門（さえもん）」と呼ばれるようになり、三拍子でテンポの早い軽快な踊りが特徴である。また、江戸時代に伊勢に行った人たちが伊勢踊りをアレンジして踊り始め、優雅でしなやかな「猿丸太夫（さるまるだゆう）」という踊りとなり、この2種類の踊りが地元の盆踊りとして定着した。これが大正時代に鶴崎以外から踊りを見に来る人が増えて、「鶴崎踊」と呼ばれ始め、この呼び名が広まっていったといわれている。大正末期に創設された「鶴崎おどり保存会」による保存継承や海外公演等の活動等もあって460年以上踊り継がれてきている。毎年8月のお盆過ぎに鶴崎公園グラウンドで本場鶴崎踊大会が開催され、唄と太鼓・三味線・横笛・胡弓・尺八のお囃子にのって、七重八重の踊り子の輪が広がる。A summer night’s dream woven from gorgeous costumes and lively rhythmsTsurusaki Dance is a traditional Bon Festival dance in the Tsurusaki district of Oita City, said to have originated at around 1560. Dancers were invited from Kyoto to perform a dance called "Mitsubyōshi" for the lord of the Bungo Province at the time, Otomo Sorin. “Mitsubyōshi" later became known as “Saemon”, a buoyant dance with a quick three-beat tempo. Visitors to Ise during the Edo period began to practice the Ise dance, which evolved into the elegant and supple "Sarumaru Dayu," dance. These two types became established as the local Bon Festival dance. More people visited Tsurusaki to watch the dance during the Taisho era, and the term “Tsurusaki Dance” became common. It has been passed down for over 460 years thanks to the preservation and inheritance of the Tsurusaki Dance Preservation Society, founded at the end of the Taisho period, as well as activities such as overseas performances. The Authentic Tsurusaki Dance Contest is held in the Tsurusaki Park grounds every year in August, immediately after the Obon festival.
