It is said that if you enter under the wreath, you will be blessed with happiness.の領地奪還を祝って舞ったのが起源と言われ、約500年間にわたり、連綿と引き継がれてきた。毎年11月28日の黒丸町の法養堂の法養祭で奉納されるほか、国内のみならず海外でも披露され、大村市や長崎県を代表する踊りとなっている。出演者は、武士姿の男の子8人、花籠（紺の法被・手甲・脚一絆・豆絞りの鉢巻き姿で、前に大太鼓を抱き、直径約5m・重さ約60㎏の大花輪を背負っている。） 4人、「大薩摩（さつま）黒丸踊」と書いた大旗2人、はやし方として鉦（かね）・鼓（つづみ）・笛・地太鼓・三味線・ 唄い手がいる。目がさめるような大花輪や大旗を背負い、大太鼓を打ちながら踊る様子は勇壮で全国有数の華やかさである。Inherited for about 500 years! The dance is offered at the Hoyo Festival at Kuromaru Town’s Hoyodo Hall on November 28 every year, and is performed not only in Japan but also overseas, becoming a representative dance of Omura City and Nagasaki Prefecture. The performers are, eight boys dressed as warriors, four Hanakago (dressed in navy blue happi coats, armored suits, and leg bands, with a bean-patterned hachimaki, holding a large drum in front of them and carrying a large garland of flowers about 5 meters in diameter and weighing about 60 kg), two have large flags with the words “Oosatsuma Kuromaru Odori” written on them, and the musicians include a gong, a drum, a flute, a jidaiko, a shamisen player, and a singer.
