It’s a 600-meter walk from the bus stop.Mishima Shrine, the chief guardian of Kuma-Oda Township 0892-21-1628 / Kuma-Kogen Town Tourist Association 0892-21-1192三島神社の境内では、毎年恒例の「五神太鼓」や、優雅な「神楽 浦安の舞」の巫女舞を氏神様に奉納する。In the precincts of Mishima Shrine, the annual “Gojin Daiko” and the elegant miko (shrine maiden) dance “Kagura Urayasu no Mai” are dedicated to the gods.族、長曾我部元親は、勢いに乗じて伊予の国、久万山に侵攻した。久万山五神太鼓はこの侵略を阻まんとする、伊予久万山の戦国武将、大野直昌との大野ヶ原、笹が峠の合戦を伝承し復元・創作された勇壮な戦陣の太鼓である。打ち方は戦陣の太鼓らしく、柔、鋭、激、すなわち、柔らかく、鋭く、力強くをモットーにしている。魔除先達の守護神のダイバの仮面をつけ、強く、激しく打ち切るところが、この太鼓の最大の見せ場となっている。地元に残された伝統技能を絶やさぬように、後継者育成にも力を入れ、幼稚園児から高校生まで、将来地元で活躍してくれる若者に指導している。Dedication of the Kumayama Gojin Daiko drum in front of a sacred tree more than 600 years oldAbout 400 years and several decades ago, during the Warring States Period, Motochika Chosokabe, a powerful Tosa clan bent on conquering Shikoku, invaded Kumayama in the Land of Iyo. The Kumayama Gojin Daiko is a majestic battle-drum performance that has been reconstructed and creatively reimagined. It is based on the battle of Onogahara and Sasagatoge, between the warlord Ono Naoshige of Iyo Kumayama and the invader. The drumming is soft, sharp, and powerful, just like the drums of the battlefield. The most impressive part of the performance is when the drummers, wearing the mask of “Daiba,” the guardian god of evil spirits, beat the drum strongly and vigorously.
