ホームページ ▶ http://www.town.ama.shimane.jp開催日：毎年8月第4又は第5土曜日（※前後のイベント状況によって毎年変動）場所：海士町「海士町大感謝祭」JR松江駅→（バス）→七類港(しちるいこう)からフェリー乗車（9:30発、約3時間）→菱浦港（海士町）海士町交流促進課 08514-2-0017Date：The 4th or 5th Saturday of August every year (subject to change depending on surrounding events)Place：Ama Town – “Ama Town Grand Thanksgiving Festival”From JR Matsue Station, take the bus to Shichirui Port, then board the ferry departing at 9:30 (approx. 3 hours) to Hishiura Port (Ama Town)Exchange Promotion Division, Ama Town 08514-2-0017山と海の両方から恵みを受け、自然と共に生活するすばらしさを歌い、踊りに込めて“キクラゲチャカポン持って来いよ”しゃもじをもってユニークにSongs about the wonder of living with nature, blessed by both the mountains and the sea, and a unique dance, with a rice scoop in hand, chanting "Go get kikurage, chakapon!"るが、実在の人物である海士町生まれの杉山松太郎が明治10年の西南戦争に従軍し、熊本の地の民謡（キンニョムニョ）をうつろに覚えて持ち帰った曲(菱浦港の機織唄)を、自己流にアレンジして広めたといわれている。当時は、山高帽子にステッキを持ってひょうきんな踊りで皆を笑わせたといわれる。現在のキンニャモニャ踊りは、両手にしゃもじを持ち、唄に合わせて打ちながら、全身で愉快に踊られており、見ているだけで身体が動き出す。毎年8月第4又は第5土曜日に開催される「海士町大感謝祭〜老いも若きもキンニャモニャ〜」は、島内外から参加者総勢1000名を超える町最大のイベントで、東京や大阪など島外からの踊り手も多数参加し、色とりどりの衣装に身を包んだ踊り子がパレードを行う。パレードにはしゃもじを借りての飛び入り参加も可能で、古くから港町として様々な人との交流を育んできたこの島ならではの催しである。The Kinnyamonya folk song expresses the nature, culture, and human empathy of the town of AmaThere are various accounts of the birth of the Kinnyamonya folk song in the town of Ama on the Oki Islands. It is said that one Matsutaro Sugiyama, who was born in Ama Town and served in the Seinan War in 1877, brought back a Kumamoto folk song he vaguely remembered called Kinnyomunyo, arranged it in his own style and popularized it as the Weaver's Song of Hishiura Port. He is said to have amused people with his funny dance with a top hat and cane. Today's Kinnyamonya dance is performed with a shamoji rice scoop in each hand, hit in time with the music and using the whole body joyously. Simply watching it is enough to make your body move. The “Ama Town Grand Thanksgiving Festival - Kinyamonya for the Young and the Old” is held on the fourth or fifth Saturday of August every year. It is the largest event in the town with over 1,000 participants from both within and outside the island, including many dancers from Tokyo, Osaka, and other places, who parade in colorful costumes.
