どじょうすくいで有名な民謡 安来節！江戸中期、安来港が米や鉄などの積出港として栄え、安来の民衆の間で流行した歌舞音曲が、北前船の船頭たちによって諸国の民謡などと交流し、安来節の原型ができたといわれている。江戸末期には、いろいろな音楽の影響を受け「安来節」に変化、成長し、明治末期、唄の名人「渡部お糸」が、三味線の富田徳之助と一座を組んで全国を回り大好評を得て、黄金時代を築いた。「どじょうすくい」は、安来の若者たちが近くの小川でとれたドジョウを肴に酒盛りの際、酔うとドジョウを掬う様子をまねし皆で楽しんだ。中でも、百姓の竹内吉助が、これを面白おかしく踊り、酒席の人気者となり、この踊りが安来節とぴたりと合い、徐々に広まっていった。踊りは、ユーモラスな男踊りと優雅な女踊りがあり、三味線や鼓の正調伴奏、さらに第二次大戦後は出雲地方の民俗的楽器である「銭太鼓」も衆望で加わった。安来節保存会は、正調安来節の保存継承とその振興のため明治44年に設立され、以降、安来節の技倆向上、普及宣伝に努めている。 ホームページ ▶ 安来節演芸館 https://www.engei-ap.net/ 安来節保存会 https://y-hozon.com/開催日：土日祝（変動する場合があります）場所：安来節演芸館車：山陰自動車道「安来IC」より約15分安来節保存会0854-28-9988Date：Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (subject to change)Place：Yasugibushi Performance HallCar：15 minutes from the Yasugi IC on the San-in ExpresswayYasugibushi Preservation Society 0854-28-9988安来節演芸館2024年5月末リニューアルオープン。船乗りが口ずさむ故郷の民謡がその起源。Yasugibushi Performance Hall will reopen at the end of May 2024.Yasugibushi originated as a folk song that sailors used to hum in their hometown.一宇川 耕士 氏：平成19年度地域伝統芸能奨励賞受賞Yasugibushi, a folk song famous for loach scooping!In the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868), Yasugi Port flourished as a shipping port for rice and iron. It is said that the folk songs and dances popular among the people of Yasugi were exchanged with folk songs from other countries by the boatmen of the Kitamae-bune, resulting in the original form of Yasugi-bushi. In the late Edo period, it was influenced by various types of music and evolved into what it is today. In the late Meiji period (1868-1912), Watanabe Oito, a master singer, and Tomita Tokunosuke, a shamisen player, formed a troupe that toured the country to great acclaim, creating a golden age of the genre. “Dojosukui” (loach scooping) was enjoyed by young people in Yasugi, who would scoop up loaches from a nearby creek when they were drunk during drinking parties. Among them, Kichisuke Takeuchi, a peasant farmer, danced it in an amusing manner and became a popular figure at drinking parties. The dance perfectly matched the Yasugibushi melody, gradually spreading thereafter. The dance included humorous male dances and elegant female dances, accompanied by the shamisen and drums, and after World War II, “zenidaiko drum,” a folk instrument of the Izumo region, was also added by the crowd.
