Their passion for their respective roles adds depth to the stage.あなたも役者の一人、物語の世界へ。横尾歌舞伎は江戸時代前期から伝えられる地元の人の手により運営される農村歌舞伎である。文明開化にちなんだ「開明座」と呼ぶ村の常設舞台で上演されてきた。横尾歌舞伎を伝える浜松市引佐町（いなさちょう）には現存する舞台だけでも5、かつては18もの常設舞台があった。これに仮設舞台も加えればこの倍以上もの舞台が存在したと伝えられ、いかにこの地方が歌舞伎に熱中したかが理解される。戦後の一時中断を経て、昭和40年引佐町芸能保存会（現在の横尾歌舞伎保存会）が結成され、昭和49年に県無形民俗文化財に指定され、平成10年東四村コミュニティセンター開明座（現在の開明座）が建設された。後継者の育成にも努めており、役者から義太夫、三味線、裏方まで全て地元の人たちで作られている。この伝統を受け継ごうと、地元の子どもによる「横尾歌舞伎少年団」と「少年少女三味線教室」を結成し、公演に向けて稽古に励んでいる。横尾歌舞伎保存会床山衣裳部が令和3年度地域伝統芸能大賞支援賞受賞You are one of the actors, entering the world of the story.Yokoo Kabuki is a form of rural kabuki that has been handed down since the early Edo period and is managed by the local people. It has been performed on a permanent stage in a village called “Kaimeiza“. There are five existing stages in the town of Inasa, Hamamatsu City, whereYokoo Kabuki is still performed, although there used to be as many as 18 permanent stages. If temporary stages are included, the number of stages is said to have been more than double this number, which shows how enthusiastic the local community was about kabuki. After a temporary hiatus following the war, the Inasa Town Performing Arts Preservation Society (now the Yokoo Kabuki Preservation Society) was formed in 1965, designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of the prefecture in 1974, and the Higashiyonmura Community Center Kaimeiza (now Kaimeiza) was built in 1998. They are striving to nurture successors, and all the actors, gidayu, shamisen players, and backstage staff are made up of local people.
