The vibrant excitement of festivals can be experienced through the momentum of the brush strokes.文学専攻)卒業後、江蘇省国画院で絵画を学んだ。後に南京博物院勤務し、中国美術史や理論の研究に従事し、1980年中国教育部派遣国費留学生として来日し、武蔵野美術大学大学院、東京芸術大学では、平山郁夫画伯に師事し、仏教美術を学んだ。比叡山延暦寺、三千院、大本山永平寺等全国有名寺院の襖絵や障壁画の制作に取り組み、「倫雅美術奨励賞」(1990年)を受賞した。また、日本の祝祭文化に魅せられ、全国各地の祭りや伝統芸能を訪ね、描き続けている。その功により、（財)神道文化会より『神道文化奨励賞・特別賞』を授与され、20数年前から今日にいたるまで「日本の祭り絵展」を全国各地で開催している。最近では、2013年に石川県金沢市(しいの木迎賓館)、石川県七尾市(七尾美術館）にて、2014年は茨城県筑西市(しもだて美術館)、千葉県成田市(成田空港NAAアートギヤラリー)にて開催した。Painting time, space, and emotions simultaneously using ink-wash techniquesFu Yiyao was born in Nanjing, China as the fifth child of Fu Baoshi, a Master of Modern Chinese painting. After graduating from Nanjing Normal University (majoring in classical Chinese literature), she studied painting at the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Institute. She later worked at Nanjing Museum, where she engaged in research into Chinese art history and theory and came to Japan in 1980 as a government-sponsored student sent by the Chinese Ministry of Education. At Musashino Art University’s Graduate School and Tokyo University of the Arts, she studied Buddhist art under painter Ikuo Hirayama. She was awarded the Ringa Art Encouragement Award in 1990 for her work on sliding door and screen for famous temples throughout Japan, including Enryakuji Temple on Mt. Hiei, as well as Sanzenin and Eiheiji Temples. Furthermore, fascinated by Japan's festival culture, she continues to visit and paint at festivals and traditional performing arts nationwide. For her achievements, she was awarded the Shinto Culture Encouragement Prize and Special Prize by the Shinto Culture Association and has been holding exhibitions of Japanese festival pictures throughout the country for more than 20 years.
